POOL & PARK SUPERVISOR

The City of Follansbee is seeking applications for the position of Pool & Park Supervisor. The duties will include the following: Scheduling and supervising of lifeguards, park labor and concession stand; be able to mow grass; assuring the pool water is in proper condition; assuring the park and pool grounds are well kept & clean; coordinating with the Swim Team and potentially Swim Lesson; assist as necessary with the Park Shelters and Community House. Duties will also include reporting to the Follansbee City Building on all financial and personnel matters. The selected applicant will report directly to the City Manager, but will also be advised and directed by the Office Manager. The duration of employment will be from May 31st through either August 11th or after completion of Christmas in the Park and this duration will be at the discretion of the City Manager. Depending on the selected number of Supervisor(s) and the discretion of the City Manager, the Supervisor(s) will work 10-30 hours per week. Previous Pool and Park experience is preferred.
