Municipal System Hydrant Flushing
The City of Follansbee will be flushing fire hydrants next week for customers on the Municipal System (Downtown).
This includes the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Wards. The 4th ward is on the Hooverson Heights system and will not be flushed on this round.
The schedule is as follows….
1st and 2nd Wards – Monday 04/20/26
3rd and 5th Wards – Tuesday 04/21/26
During this time customers may experience low to no water pressure and discoloration and are urged to refrain from doing laundry during this period as clothes may get stained.
